There is accessible parking within The Quays Outlet Shopping Centre.
The side doors are the accessible entrance for wheelchair users.
There are accessible toilets located to the right of the entrance. They are accessible for wheelchair users.
They are not quite large enough for a wheelchair to turn around safely in but there is room for a PA or family member to assist a wheelchair user.
There are handrails for both transfer sides. The sink, hand dryer and toilet paper dispenser are all accessible for wheelchair users.
The toilet doesn’t require a RADAR key.
The lighting is nice and bright, the toilets are nice and clean and safe to use.
Restaurant
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, the accessible access is at the top of the restaurant. There is large open plan seating with round and square tables. There is a quiet corner of the restaurant, if you wish to be away from the hustle and bustle.
There is quiet music playing in the background and lighting is nice and bright.
They also allow guide dogs into the building.
They don’t offer a larger print menu or braille for the visually impaired or a hearing loop for the deaf but this is something they are looking into.
They do however, have a dietary requirement menu which contains gluten free and vegan options.
There are specials boards which are located outside as you walk in the building.
For anyone requiring their food to be liquidised then the restaurant can help with this or they are happy for you to bring in your own food.
The customer service was fantastic from start to finish. The manager Rhys took the time out of his day, to show around the building and answer our questions. Our waitress Sofi was very kind and friendly and made our lunch more enjoyable and made us feel very welcome.
